Short version.....I bought 3k rds. Dumped into zip locks, placed in ammo can, threw away boxes containing lot numbers. Called win, they said since I "didn't have the boxes we'll pay you well above replacement cost and have them picked up."

When I asked just what that price would be? She couldn't say. I'm real reluctant to send them back without knowing what they're paying. With all safety aspects aside, finding replacements is difficult. Ironically, if I had the boxes they would replace the ammo! I've no idea the reason and neither did she.

anyone here return any or gotten paid for them? Rumors?

Unless they replace with equal qty of 22, i'm not sending anything back.

The production lots were from 2013, so if you got it pre-panic, you should be okay.

IF I had any, it would be tempting to get a 2 for 1 replacement delivered on my doorstep prior to letting go of the actual ammo. .04/round ammo at even .08/round won't even get you started at current prices.

That said, looks like I will be tapping into the Rem Golden bullets this year...oh my scores. (Got to start early for when you whip me again. ) :)

You could find a way to try to weigh them all I think double charge was the problem right?
