It's very alarming seeing whats happening in our country. I feel sorry for some of the people that live there and must live in terror everyday. I think if the LEOs had gone back in force there would be video of that everywhere, to document the brutality against the good people of Oakland and what not.

What do you expect when they keep cutting money to the cops? Its ok though. They have laws that say these kind of things won't happen. Guns are outlawed for the most part. So those in the video were really pop guns not real. That guy that got run over.... It was a street... Cars have the right away...... Unreal. When seconds count the cops will run even if they do come hours later.

My last job was located in Alameda and I flew into Oakland every other month. I once drove down Industrial Blvd with my coworker who was a sheriff from a nearby county, he was shocked to see how little police involvement there was. You could actually see drug deals, prostitution, tweakers and other bizarre stuff during the day. As evident in that film, nobody tried to hide their illegal activities. BTW I am a Raiders fan and I felt uncomfortable in and around that stadium during game days.

Cali has taken a hard line position that anyone who refuses to break the law will not have a gun to defend there life, and only people wanting to break the law will have guns. Cali has cultivated this environment that will continue to get worse before it gets better. It's not just Oakland. Look at any major city in the US. Almost all of them have this type of societal decay and all are run by leftists and have been for many years. It's what a touchy/feely approach to problem solving will get you.

Around 20, 25 and 30+ years ago I have seen this same scene play out in East Hollywood, Inglewood, Santa Ana, Westminster and Long Beach. It is a result of intentional morale decay and it IS part of a plan being carried out for some 50 plus years now and will soon come to fruition if WE don't do something about it. We need to make our votes count by getting out and actually voting for the right people.

That video, while disconcerting, looked like a relatively comfortable/safe place to be compared to what it was like to be white, in Oakland, when the Rodney King verdict was released. Needless to say, coming to a full stop at a stop sign wasn't an option, you rolled every one just hoping to make it home (I lived at the marina in Emeryville at the time and there's no way to get to Emeryville without transiting Oakland).

I'm told some people carried without a permit....or so I hear.
