Years after a mysterious plague has devastated the planet and turned most of humanity into blood-hungry creatures, a rogue drifter (Johnny Strong) on a vengeful hunt stumbles across a band of survivors lead by a grizzled old police chief (Lance Henriksen) in an abandoned police station and reluctantly agrees to help them defend themselves and escape to the sanctuary they so desperately need.

I'm honestly a little surprised at how good that looks, I'll have to make a point to check that out when it releases :-)

Looks cool....more like 28 days later crazies then undead, but I'm down to watch it :)
I googled this movie looking for more info. All the videos on youtube are My Little Pony or something. Ridge must have been involved with making this.

It appears they might be more intelligent too.

I wonder if they'll have bottom-less magazines.... That's the only thing that gets me with action movies

Those are illegal! ;)
If I see one more teacup or wrist grip, I'm gonna explode.

have you guys seen Johnny Strong's other gun movie? Sinners and Saints, great great gun movie
no teacup or unlimited ammo cheat in that one. hopefully Daylight's End keeps that going

The one time I tried to watch Walking Dead I saw fireballs and no slide action shots in the preview and couldn't turn it off fast enough.
At least they only look human fast, and not super human fast like in World War Z.

Yep. I will watch it.
Lance Henriksen has aged about as well as Mickey Rourke

I'm amazed they got him back together after being torn in half by an alien.
Did anyone find a release date for this flick?

Bringing back an old thread, if IMDB is right this comes out in late Aug.
People who saw it at the Dallas Film Festival seemed to enjoy it.

You forgot the number of full auto weapons that TWD seems to have.

Looks a lot like what without rule of law might look like from a survival standpoint.

The movie is "released" but in extremely limited theaters. Nowhere within 50 miles of northern Virginia.
BUT! It's on Amazon Video for $6/20 rent/buy (HD) or $5/15 (SD).

Figured I'd bump this thread. Daylight's End is available for rent on Comcast on-demand. Watching it now. Pretty good flick so far.
I'll be sure to check it out!
