I really don't see what the problem is. The government knows how to spend my money better than I do. I think that my paychecks should just go straight to the government from now on and they can give me back what they think I might need.

Taxing the people any more than necessary, is just legalized robbery.
Thanks to Doug Bruce, colorado springs can at least maintain some semblance of sanity.

TABOR= Taxpayer Bill Of Rights. Basically limits how much tax money the state can take.

Some people... who I don't understand a bit, seem to genuinely like bigger government. I don't know if they just don't trust themselves with being responsible for retirement, medical insurance, keeping a job, etc; or maybe they just would rather not deal with it, so let government do it. They don't seem to understand that government is inefficient and not any smarter than you or I. There is also a disconnect between what government services they like and what we as a country can actually afford. Give government enough power to be able to take advantage of you and they will. Power corrupts, period.
