I can come up with several other people that I'd like to have go away with them, but it is a good start.

Three years after he launched himself on an unsuspecting American public as a prime-time interrogator of politicians and celebrities, Piers Morgan has admitted defeat in the nightly ratings battle and plans to step down from his CNN show (http://piersmorgan.blogs.cnn.com/). Good riddance!

Like either were relevant anyway......

But, one thing to consider: can this possibly mean a shift in the status quo? Let's look at this, the far left have had their way for 6ish years. Things are not better than they were, they are worse now. Ocare is hitting folks in the place everybody feels it, their wallets.
People aren't happy about the NSA surveillance.
Last week this administration wanted to push for FCC watchdogs in every form of media. That pissed off every journalist regardless of left or right.
Even some of the most leftward leaning media outlets are placing distance between themselves and the administration.
Benghazi, F&F and the IRS mess are still a thorn in the side and more questions are being asked.
Even the birth certificate/ history of "O" story is getting fresh light.

I hope he gets run over by a bus...fully loaded with people. And then gets run over again by the responding medics. And dies a slow, tortured death with Fox News playing on the TV in his room.

Seems his ratings just dont cut it................

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/02/24/business/media/piers-morgan-and-cnn-plan-end-to-his-prime-time-show.html?_r=0

It’s been an unhappy collision between a British television personality who refuses to assimilate — the only football he cares about is round and his lectures on guns were rife with contempt — and a CNN audience that is intrinsically provincial. After all, the people who tune into a cable news network are, by their nature, deeply interested in America.
CNN’s president, Jeffrey Zucker (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/people/z/jeff_zucker/index.html?inline=nyt-per), has other problems, but none bigger than Mr. Morgan and his plum 9 p.m. time slot. Mr. Morgan said last week that he and Mr. Zucker had been talking about the show’s failure to connect and had decided to pull the plug, probably in March.

Every once in a blue moon, people will post political stuff in the politics forum. I typically come home from work and flag those that haven't yet so the mods can move them.
