Someone taught him a good sitting position. Could use a sling but then again, it looks like he's using a .22 with a 2x scope so he may not need that much more stability.

Probably just getting some practice in by trying to knock down spent teargas canisters setup at 50 yards...

Is that a Nylon66? As I recall they had that diamond on the forestock.

I hear ya! I had so much fun it that thing! I even had a scope like that guy has, It is deadly accurate at 50 yards or so for a squirrel sized target.

That's what it looked like to me as well. Those are pretty cool rifles, IMO.

Nylon 66 has that end cap on the forend. This doesn't look to have one.

Yeah, front sights are different too. It's probably something from a source unfamiliar to the US market. [Coffee]

Pretty sure that's a Daisy Powerline 880, bought one for my grandson and was teaching him to shoot with it just yesterday.

He's gonna need a stronger rifle when those Soviet...errr Russian tanks rolling in to take over the Crimea.

The Ukranian new govt is pratcially begging the Crimean not to separate on TV as we speak.

Ah, and the diamond is an outline, where the Nylon66 is solid white. I guess never actually seen one hampered my guess!

Fellas! After the Liberals get done with us, we may only have that to defend ourselves or worse.

Private ownership of guns is illegal over there. The protesters are fighting back with the only thing they are allowed to own.. air rifles.

Takes some balls to take on an armed police force with AKs using nothing but an air rifle. There are also some air rifles out there that will out shoot a .22

My point was just that the shooter has had some training. I'll take well-trained shooter with cheesy rifle over a dumbarse with an AK.
