Seeing how I'm originally from the Pacific Northwest and used to some pretty decent sized gun shows, I was talking to a buddy of my and we decided last night that we are going to go to the Tulsa Arms show in April. Has anyone here been? Anyone else going? I figure there should be something there to make the trip worth it, I mean it is 11 acres of show grounds after all. What are your guys' thoughts?

I guess I should have actually read deeper down the list before posting. Feel free to fire away.

There's some other threads concerning this show you can search and read.
If you're looking for a big show ( can't walk it in one day), this would be a good one.

Buy a phantom table. You can get in at 1300 on Friday. You will buy then, in the lines of people getting in on Saturday and then the far west end on Saturday 0800. I try to take 10k cash to each show. It does not usually make the far west end Saturday morning. Good luck. We will be N32-35. Orange table mats. Stop by and say hi.

That's sounding more and more like a better idea the longer I think about it bigun. Do you skip the lines also on Sat and Sun since you have a "table"?

It may be possible to have a table holder just BUY an extra badge for you (about $50) when the badges are distributed at 1PM on Friday. That will get the badge holder in for the rest of the day on Fri and then on Sat and Sun morning without having to stand on the L O N G line of buyers. This is IF you can get a table holder to buy an extra badge for you. Fridays are the best days to do your buying - long before the huge Sat and Sun crowds flood the aisles and buy up all the remaining bargains that were picked over from Friday.. IMHO.[blaster]

Well. If you are going with a buddy, the phantom table I best. For about 165.00 you get two passes and the ability to buy extra badges. The extra badges are about 50.00 each. Gets you in all weekend. If you know a table holder, you might get to purchase extra badges. The L O N G line of folks attending is where I buy. That's enough info. Enjoy the show. Since the tards shut down the big shows in the West, Tulsa has become the outstanding show in North America.

Tulsa update. Best first day from Tulsa in many years. May be sold out by 1000 tomorrow. 22 mag 150.00/500 brick and 22lr 65.00-100/500 brick. Sales brisk. Very little 22 ammo for the public to buy tomorrow. All other ammo normal. Quality guns selling at a fast pace. AR business slow. Very few AK for sale. If I have time I will write another report tomorrow evening.

Tulsa was outstanding. I got to see most of the show because my table was empty early on Sunday. Best show since the craze. Bought my tables for April 2015. Hope to see you there.
