View Full Version : Is anybody else sick of winter?
Don't know why but this winter has just dragged ass for me this year. Come on spring!
Last winter it was 60 degrees most of the time. I enjoyed the break in the weather, but generally enjoy having more snow.

I'm sick of winter by about October every year.

OUCH!! Come on, July was miserable last year... For Peters sake haven't you heard of global warming and stuff? Think of the children.
Winter?
It must have been 70 degrees here today.

I like winter -- but I'd rather have more snow and less wind.
I like colder temps....
But I got so much to do this spring... I'm not looking forward to it.

This has seemed to be a very easy winter up here (9k feet). I haven't used the snowblower once. Of course, March approaches.....
Aside from the wind, no major complaints yet. Great time to practice other skills if you're into that kind of thing.

Now that we sub-contract out snow removal at work and I dont have to have any thing to do with snow removal, I love winter.
Leaving for Maui this morning for 3 weeks so my winter is over today!

No. I haven't had the time to play in it like I want.
I'm still waiting for winter to show up. Been super mild in my area....
I miss the snow storms that would literally shut down the town for a few days...
Wait, we get winter here? Maybe a few winter storms, but not really a whole season of it. I miss the grass being covered by snow from Nov-Mar.

I am sick of the wind but not the snow or cold. I like all seasons. I don't like it when it is really hot and the wind ruins any weather.

I am sick of the no driving assholes this morning. 50 minutes to get from Brighton to 74th and Vasquez. 2 accidents.

Screw you.
Ive got a pair of wear bars to replace and a battery that is dead. And ive got to track down some ice melt.

I don't mind the heat of summer, I don't mind the cold of winter. If it's going to snow, I prefer to be able to measure it in feet, otherwise, don't bother. I'm really sick of the 50 mph wind every other day, though. If I wanted wind, I'd move to Wyoming...

Not even close bud!
I still have 2-4 months of backcountry snowboarding. Its just getting good. Hopefully we don't get a serious warmup before I can bag some big lines...

I feel your pain. After every snow we would have to fix all the equipment for a few days to get it all back up and running.

I like the colder weather, and I love snow generally, but I think I'm good on my snow quota for the year (don't like my commute in it, nor having the car washes afterwards).

Ugh, I hate summer heat.
Yeah, the wind has been bothersome. Odd feeling taking my dog for a walk and a few minutes later realizing I have a howling kite.
I am about 7ft short of snow at my house so no I am not ready to see the end of winter. I have two months left...no interest in fires again this year.

^^^ This. Still way to dry up here in the hills. I want / need more. Not to mention this is my down season and I've only made it out ice fishing twice so far and need to get out more. Starting April I'll be so busy with work I won't be able to find my ass with both hands.
