Seems I tend to shoot Sig handguns quite well. At least by my standards. Also, even though my personal experience is somewhat limited, reliability has been 100% with the ones I have shot.

Picked up up a well-loved P229 in 40 caliber from a forum member and fell in love with how well it shot. Recently got rid of a Glock that I just couldn't seem to hit where I aimed it so thought I would replace it with a Sig and give that a shot.

I was going back and forth between the MK25 and the M11-A1 and settled on the M11-A1 because it has the same stock capacity as the MK25, is about the same size as my P229 (which I love), and has the SRT trigger that the MK25 lacks.

Anyhow, I'm very happy with my purchase.

This is was the first 20 rounds I ever fired from the M11-A1. Decent group and well centered. Right where I was aiming.

Another 20 rounds into the same target at a much faster pace opened the group up a bit and a couple pulled left but overall I am very happy considering how rapidly I was putting those shots onto the target.

I might have to invest in a P227 next.

Then, maybe a second P229 in .357. Cstone says I won't be disappointed with that one.

My EDC is a P229 SAS GenII .357Sig.

You can just get the barrel for the .40 to .357Sig conversion also.

P227 is on my short list.

Great shooters all.

I'm not a huge fan of swapping in different barrels or even swapping uppers around on AR rifles. Nothing wrong with it, I'm just funny that way. I'd rather just pick up a whole other handgun.

The P227 will probably be my next purchase though. Specifically the "carry" model since it will be similar in size and shape to my P229 and M11-A1.

Nice Twenty-tap.

You should see how tight my one-shot groups are. [Coffee]

I cant shoot Sigs for crap. I can shoot them accurately, but not fast. When I try to go fast accuracy goes in the crapper. Heck, I shoot a revolver faster and more accurate...

Sig 1911's I can can shoot decently, I had a 229 that I could not shoot for crap. Btw I the P239 and P939 are good gut guns.

I never took to the 220 Beaver Tail I had. Great pistol, just never spun my crank.

Funny, im the exact opposite. I cant hit anything with my sig 1911, but I'm pretty accurate with my P226 Combat.

A little late for the Sig love-fest, but I'll jump in anyways. I shot my first Sig (a P220) in ~2007 and haven't looked back. I shot Glocks at the time and did fairly well with them but after shooting the Sig, I couldn't hit crap with the Glocks unless I was really working at it. Additionally, the P220 was like shooting a stick of butter comparatively.

I made the swap and haven't looked back (although I still want another G17 just to have in the safe). The P220 was given to my father since he fell in absolute love with it. I have a P226 in the safe and a P229 E2 is my carry piece. A P227 is on the short list for me as well.

EDC is a P228, love it. Always fires. I can hit what I want with it. Enjoy your sigs!

I've carried a Sig (226 originally and now a 229) since 1997 on duty and absolutely love them. I own several now and am interested in getting the new 224 as an off duty gun.

I love Sig too. I had a 2004 P220, but just sold it to get my wife a P239 for carry when we get to Colorado, so I still have that awesome craftsmanship to admire.
