Looking for someone who does taxes. Mine are a little more complicated (to me) since I added a LLC this year and my boy was born.
You could probably put that in the "help a member" forum or the "wanted" section but I don't personally know any good CPA's myself. I'm sure there are some good ones on here but they are likely SLAMMED this time of year.

I used a tax pro for the first time this year. I used one of Dave Ramsey's endorsed local providers. The lady that did our taxes was awesome. Might be worth a shot.

I finally convinced my friend to try turbo tax. He has an LLC out of state with multiple rental homes, two house income, two children and saved $800+ in taxes. Might check it out. If you buy the program for $60 and don't like what you're seeing, you lost 60 and goto a tax pro.

I used turbo tax up until last year. I used it every year for the last 8 or 9 years for sure. Both my wife and I had gone to college during the years together. Well turbo tax gave me a tax credit I didn't deserve. I didn't realize this since I just filled in the blanks on Turbo Tax. I got a bill in the mail for $3,300 at a much later date. So to be safe I would rather use someone that knows. Especially since I have the kid and the startup LLC. Luckily no one is in college right now.

You can use Turbo Tax then take them to an accountant to look over. Not to pry into your business but TurboTax guarantees its calculations...... So maybe you were just skirting the law by click what your shouldn't have or I would contact TurboTax and have them pay for their software mistake if it was truly their software mistake. I wouldn't have given you a credit if you didn't meet all the requirements.

Totally let me know if you're into organized crime, we can definitely get something together. I do require you to provide your own zoot suit and Tommy Gun.

Definitely not trying to skirt the law with taxes. I just answered the questions it asked. I have been on the phone arguing with Turbo Tax since I got the bill in the mail from the IRS.

I recommend a CPA to all my clients. I can PM his name and contact info if requested. I find his rates very reasonable.

Avoid at all cost... their guaranty of calculation is simply 2+2 = 4..thats guaranteed correct. Talk to CPA. I thought I was an expert upto 2008, when I took mine to CPA.. he was finding all kind of deduction that I missed for the past years. :)

I used Richard Schwartz at 8th and Colorado: http://www.yelp.com/biz/schwartz-accounting-and-tax-services-denver
He is pricey but saved me a lot in taxes this year.
I worked in three states, started a new LLC and bought a vehicle.
