Where is this taking place, Rampart Range?
It's a little spot north of Woodland Park, on 67.. Mile marker 89 I think.. If I don't think right, I'm sure somebody will correct me..
There is a stop sign on the west side of of 67...

Doesn't he usually camp out the night before? And yes. . . Sleep is definately over rated, that's why I live off of Red Bull!!

That's still unconfirmed, but I have my suspicions! [Twist]
I just might do it one of these days just to mess with you people...

Sounds like you'll have the better time anyways.[Beer]
SO.... just to clarify - we are shooting at the north sight this month. I have not been to a shoot in (like) 4 years and want to make sure I show up at the correct place.
Marlin, are you going to lead a caravan from the ITT Tech Center, 84th & I-25 north of Denver? What time???? I might be bringing a friend as well.
Do we need any groceries for a pot luck lunch??
Make sure to bring some garbage bags so we will leave the place cleaner than we found it.

I'm pretty sure all the club shoots are North and South every month,
so everyone is covered if they can't travel.
It's just that 4 out of 5 dentists prefer the South site![Twist] [AR15]
Hey Steve, Steve is right.. (I find that a little funny, just about every friend I had in high school was named Steve, just like old times.)
Yeah, I've been going down to the south one,, Mainly because My foot doesn't have to climb the hill at the north one..
Plus the dog has more "room" to roam..
I will plan to attend the south shoot then. I hope to see you all there. Are we going to meet at the McDonalds? What Time? Cannot wait to see Dozer. Seems like yesterday he was a little puppy, even though I remember him grown up.
I've been going down via 67,, works better than trying to go through the Springs.. Can You get to Deckers fairly easy?.. The little strip mall looking thing.. Of course from there it's only about 12 miles to the site.. South on 67 utill You see a road on the rights side with a stop sign.. right around mile marker 89.. Then just follow that FS road back about 1?4 mile or so..

Man, I'm going to have to miss this one as we're preparing to go out of town and move my in-laws into our house when we come back. [Rant1] I still haven't sighted my hunting rifle in! I hope to get up there with you all in June.
Have fun! [M2]

So what's the weather supposed to be like up there ??
I keep hearing rain,, But who knows..

Haven't heard anything, I'll just have to head up in the morning anyway.[Abused]
I may come to the conclusion that if it's raining here,,it's raining there...
if so, I may just go to my paint job,, and try next week...
Marlin, if you are not going to make it - please post in the a.m. I pulled up the map and am more confused now than I was. I don't have a truck anymore, so I will have to take the easy way to get there.
It was raining in Highlands Ranch when I left the AMC Theater tonight, but was dry in Castle Rock when we got home.
At the moment it looks good,, of course it's still dark...[Tooth]
Shilly, if You get to Deckers, going south, Just look for a stop sign on the west side of the road.. Can't miss it, it's the only one there.. If you run across the Rainbow falls CG,, turn around You went too far south..
If you come through WP,, just look for RFCG, and from there it's about 2 miles... Pavement all the way both directions..
The only bad part is the road up to the site,, it's starting to get a little rough..
So I see how to get to Deckers taking 67 down from Sedalia do you stay on 67 - looks like a Left on the map - or take a right?? sorry for being incompetent..

I think I see.. Stay on 67 South of Deckers. I am going to get ready to go - If you all do not see me today or if I do not make it and do not post an apology - Send out the National Guard.
Yes, just keep going south on 67.. then about 11-12 miles after Deckers,
look the the west side of the road and You'll see the stop sign..
That's where You want too turn in at...

Looks good out right now, I've got a little more packing to do and I'm out the door.
Don't think I'll make it today.. Started feeling lousy... Might be the piggy flu... Doubt it....
Sorry we missed you, Marlin - Hope you are feeling better. Probably the nicest weather we will have all year - Mostly sunny and the upper 50's.
Taking 67 out of Sedalia is a GREAT way to get there. It was just a little over an hour. The worst part is when 67 becomes a dirt road for about 5 miles - but heck - I only washed the Lexus on Tuesday. That is THE way to go out of Castle Rock.
Thank you all that showed up - nice to meet you all.
