View Full Version : Illegal immigrants demand U.S. entry
Imagine trying a stunt like this with any other country:
http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/08/us/california-border-immigration-broken-families/index.html?hpt=hp_t2
The National Immigrant Youth Alliance says these families have the right to come back to this country, as many have children who are U.S. citizens.
What makes illegals, particularly those who have proven they already have no regard for our laws, think they have any rights in the US?

The messiah Obamalamadingdong.
One of the most destructive govt policies of the last 30 years(longer actually, but accelerated in mid 80's) has been immigration.

What's interesting, if you read the article, is that they're laying the fault of most of the deportations in the last five years on the O administration's feet.

Obamalamadingdong.
that is giving him way too much credit
I have a better solution. We can reunite you pos illegals with your family members, no problem we can easily send the rest of them home with you. There now everyone is happy. You get to be with your loved ones and i dont have to keep shelling out my hard earned money to support your free healthcare, metricula benefits, free schooling for your kids, etc etc etc

you can blame obama and the democrats all you want. the republicans are as guilty as anyone else. nobody but nobody in government wants to close the borders and expel the criminal hordes.
look at reagan for all of you who dont know or forgot.

I seriously doubt at this point we have the capability. military and police combined couldnt do. it would be 1000 times worse a war than afghanistan or iraq. there are monster armies of illegal gangs in our cities. We as the Law Abiding American public have been fucked over by our government and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THAT COULD BE DONE TO CHANGE IT NOW.

HBAR, I would note in Reagan's defense that he had always said it was to be a one-time good deal to get rid of the argument that there were millions of people already in the US that we couldn't round up and deport. Reagan was a true ideological conservative who tempered his policy with a sense of realism about what he could get past a Democrat-controlled House. The "deal" worked out with Tip O'Neill was supposed to be that Democrats would support efforts to cut off future illegal immigration, I repeat, ILLEGAL immigration. Immigration waves have preceded every economic boom in US history; cutting off immigration certainly isn't the answer -- but we should have every right to ensure immigrants all go through a process that weeds out criminals, health risks, risks to national security, etc.
Maybe it needs to be a shoot on sight type of thing, or starting militias as per the constitution for defending our country from invasion.
The article is titled much more dramatically than the contents in my opinion. The article made it sound like they were going to march on the border or something, but when you read it, it says they are going to go and ask to be let in. Big deal, that probably happens all day, every day.

I've read the President Reagan regretted this decision but I've also read that he didn't. No matter because he set the precedent and now illegals EXPECT amnesty from their criminal act of entering the United States illegally.
The law granted amnesty to nearly 3 million illegal immigrants, yet was largely considered unsuccessful because the strict sanctions on employers were stripped out of the bill for passage.
Just like now, employers skate when they should be prosecuted.

Legal immigration is a terrific program, provided we can control who gets to come here. I want people who are looking to be a part of the great American culture (citizenship, education, blend into society) and who want to contribute to the betterment of the United States by doing what their predecessors did, create a dream and work towards that dream.
The media is has done a fine job of blending legal and illegal immigration, so much so that many people do not know and do not want to know the difference.

I don't know about that. All the various Muslim insurgent groups have huge amounts of full-auto assault rifles, beltfeds, tons and tons of ammo, RPG's by the trainloads, mortars, all kinds of explosives, plenty of cash, training camps, and support networks. And no end to the slobbering fools itching to die for Allah and get their virgins.
Our street gangs here have what - mostly handguns and a few rifles & shotguns? And what kind of ammo supplies, extra magazines, and etc. do they typically have stockpiled? I wouldn't say they were exactly well-trained or well supplied. The one thing they do have lots of is macho bravado, but how long would that last once their homies start dropping all around them?
Fighting the gangs might tax the military and police resources, they have more important things to do. But deputize a few thousand gun owners, former military, retired LEO and rednecks to help, might be a different story.

The answer is as simple as I'm going to state. The only, and I believe only way we will/could protect our borders is with a mine field. I say we mine it, sign it, and let them choose their on fate. Play the card of..."we didn't do it, we warned you to stay outta our yard but you did this to yourself."
Economical solution to my thinking.
*on way to man cave while everyone tells me how stupid this idea is. Whatever. The pussification of America continues.

Give jurisdiction for gang enforcement to the various state division of wildlife agencies. Issue resident and non-resident tags and determine appropriate daily bag limits. Gang problem solved. State budget deficits eliminated.

actually it is not that hard to secure the border, drop about 200 of them where they crossed with a a well placed shot or two and their will be a whole lot of them that will think twice about it.
activate the army to protect our own border for a change instead of some midlle eatern desert that no one gives a shit about anyway.
