Well, since the Senate Dems removed any filibuster, a simple majority is needed to put this guy in the Surgeon Generals seat!! This guy has never even run a department of a hospital, so he is not exactly qualified to be SG but he's a big Obama buddy. Oh yeah, he's also VERY anti-gun. This guy will not be good for gun advocates for sure.

Look up what the surgeon general does and you will see that it is nothing more than a pat on the back position without any authority to really do anything.
