As much as I loathe him and people of his ilk, they really are absolutely brilliant when it comes to appealing to young people. He goes on there, gives Zach a little ribbing (it really wasn't particularly funny, but when it's presented to 19-30 year olds who are already in love with him, they're sure to bust up), and they even throw some of the criticisms and questions we ask his way. Naturally, he doesn't answer a goddamn thing, but he makes it look like those questions must be completely ridiculous by having them presented in a satirical way on a comedy site. It detracts from the legitimacy of them in the public's eyes.

He also gets his down-to-earth, everyman president image bigged up by doing this, and gets a chance to plug Obamacare (which is the point in the video where I gave up).

Yup - Beeho has takes the presidency and dragged it through the mud. There has generally been a line in the sand that presidents don't cross, but we all know what Beeho does when a line has been crossed. That whole interchange was obviously scripted and intended to make Beeho look "kewl" and hip.

I had to ask my son if he had ever heard of Between Two Ferns. He had (he is 21). Then I asked him which channel or network airs the show. He laughed at me because today, anything on the Internet that lasts more than 3 minutes and is put out regularly is now considered a show. He then referred me to Drunk History. I watched the episode with Will Farrell as President Lincoln, Don Cheedle as Frederick Douglas and Zoey Deschanel as Mary Todd Lincoln. I admit that I have now official entered old age. I am not hip. I didn't find it funny and I don't watch much on TV or the Internet. My wife reinforces this revelation occasionally by pointing out some hipster, 30 something walking down the street wearing a pork pie hat or cuffed jeans, drinking a PBR, etc... When I do anything remotely similar or wear anything that is considered hipster fashion, it apparently doesn't make me hip. It just makes me look like an old man.

Since I didn't vote for President Obama, what he does on Internet shows that I don't watch (and had never heard of) really doesn't make much difference to me. The next election can't get here soon enough for me. I hope we keep the legislature and Presidency split so nothing gets done in DC. The federal government has done quite enough already IMO and most of it has been bad.
