View Full Version : Anyone in the Thornton area bored?
If you come pick me up @ the Firestone @ 120th and Colorado we can hang out for an hour or so until my truck is done.
I can buy you coffee or something.
Odd request, I know. But I don't have anyone to pick me up, I don't feel like sitting around here, and I'm too lazy to walk a mile or so to my house.
Shoot me a PM with your name and number and I can call or text you.
Thanks.
Ray

Lol. Sucks that everyone I know is working or lives far away.
Looks like they pulled my truck onto the alignment rack just now. Maybe it won't be as long as they told me.

Starting to get really bored and looking for a place to nap.

I got the pleasure of sitting in line at the emissions testing station before I came here. That's always a good time.

Finally done. Wish I didn't have to go back to work. We could go to the range.

No one can blame you with those rose colored glasses on.

Those places, run by the idiots they hire.....piss me off every Fvcking time. Shitty attitudes, no class or tact. Broke my inside door handle on the drivers door over at Irma Drive location, retarded fat ass.
Had one crank the shop plow truck while in gear, figured that out, then slipped the clutch trying to pull into the lane...with the parking brake applied.
Watch out for the the Big Moose Bitch with the pony tail over at the Aurora location....I was a red hair away from giving that shit pile a piece of my mind about her snotty attitude.
I was a mess when I had to take my Firebird in there.

Look online for the listing of locations for the mobile stations. You need 2 passes with some amount of time between them and you don't have to go to the tester place. I used to do it with my jeep cause the tires were oversized and swapping tires for emissions was a pita. When I had a non-too-busy day, I would look up the locations and go take a casual drive though the roadside.
I usually don't go to the emissions places. I usually make sure to drive past the road side ones every chance I get. But, hard to make that happen with a new (used) vehicle with no plates.

You need some mountain property ray.

If I had mountain property you'd probably be up all the time wanting to shoot stuff.

Good point. Just a couple months ago I was looking at 30-40 acres south of wiggins.

I tried hitting those stations when the Explorer was due, but I don't drive it every day, and those stations are rarely out on I-76. Also, your window for that option closes two months prior to your plates being due. That's when I got the broken handle out of the deal.
I also think those stations are not out on weekends either, as far as I know. I will definitely being trying to hit them with the firebird this summer though.

The ramp to I-70 WB from I-25 NB seems to be a semi-permanent location for them.

Last summer, the station at 58th on ramp to I 25 NB which was like Always There......took a hiatus when I needed it. Might have been the one that showed up at Quebec to WB I 70 at the time...intermittently.
Why are you asking for a ride from somebody on an AR-15 website?
Craig's List has a section for that....[ROFL2]

I was at discount tire near 120th and Grant for [boring] 90 minute for tire repair on my car I just recently purchased.
I was with my kid and it was hectic. Glad that other kids came in, and they were playing quietly together.
At least they had lots of magazines.

And from I-25 n/b to 6th Ave w/b. However, with all the construction over there lately, probably not there right now.

That totally blows.

Yeah, that would go over great.
At the minimum, a choice of an independent shop would be better than those morons.
