View Full Version : Tanner 3/15-16
If anyone happens to be going, I would appreciate it if someone spots any Alliant Reloder25 for sale at non-braindamage pricing.
I'll let you know if I see any there.
I'm here as well and will keep an eye out, I'm looking for Hodgdon H4350, or RL 17 and FGMM Large rifle primers. Call me if spotted please, 303-618-4822, or text the same number. Also if your looking for something and not here text me what your looking for and what your willing to pay. May as well get my entrance monies worth!
Another guy has RL 25 for $30
Was just there, sorry I didn't see t his post before I went… Lots of EXPENSIVE powder, at least it was IMO. I use IMR4064 and saw 8 lb jugs from 199.99 to 225.00… So pricier than Powder Valley…
I wasn't there "gun shopping" just looking for misc. stuff.. Nothing caught my eye… Tavors for around 1700 on up and a nice POF 415 for 1700.00 Not too bad (IMO)
Pretty busy, but not so much that you couldn't walk around or had to squeeze by in every aisle… It is interesting to see lots of ammo at about the same price as internet prices.. Last time i was there it was packed and that one guy that sells lots of ammo was so packed and had a number ticket machine… Not so today…

I'm picking up a lower and upper from 10mm Man tomorrow so after that I may go by the show just to see what is what, its been about 3+ years since I went to the Denver Tanner.
I'll be heading up tomorrow.

If someone attending Tanner tomorrow, would see what the going price is on .22's I'd sure appreciate if they'd let me know. Thanks in advance for the info.[blaster]
Thanks for the info on the R25. I bought 2 lbs from Dad's--he was the cheapest (hard to believe) of the 3 people that had it. First time in 18 months or better that I've seen any. To smchop: I did not see any H4350, but several people had IMR4350.

Leaving to goto the show here in about 15-20 minutes.
I should go back. There was a back pack I liked but didn't buy.
But, out, I kind of have plans for the day. There will be another show soon.
Decided not to go. Too many other pressing issues.
Saw a guy with all the 22 in the world on his table. $86/500. Called him scum and moved on.

Told a guy when he asked if he could help me. "No I'm just memorizing your prices so I can laugh about it later when I buy it cheaper."
Man. You guys are just mean.

Surely that $86 for 500 rounds of .22 was not the average/normal asking price at the show. Now, my asking price of .10 cents per round doesn't seem so damn bad after all. Of course the fuel cost to pick up the ammo clear down in Trinidad may turn some buyers off but that could be adjusted somewhat. [BooHoo]
I saw others asking $28/100 for mini mags and $40/100 for federal 9mm. I asked him what it takes to go to Wal-Mart every morning at 4am.

I'm guessing an alarm clock? [Coffee]

I would think actually waking up would be the easiest part of going to WalMart.

I got home a couple of hours ago, everything was way over priced. I asked some vendors if they were having a good show and they all said "it could be better". One guy and his wife said that they were retired and moving to a 40' catamaran and gave me two books on firearms, that was cool. And yes, there was a guy with .22LR for $95 a brick, $20 for a 100 round box, another guy selling .223 (10 on a stripper) for $9.99, 50 rounds Blazer Brass .45ACP for $40, 8 rounds milsurp .30-06 in enbloc for $10. Nothing has changed, I doubt I will ever return to the Denver Tanner unless I happen to be in the neighborhood as I was today.
