Anyone have any of these? I just bought some last night for my G19 and Shield. Just looking for any feedback.

I like the idea of the shape, but I would want a night sight or at least white dots. They don't appear to have anything but all black. I have tried all black and have trouble picking them up fast. I'll wait until when one similar is offered with nights. Good luck and let us know how you like them when they get here. First hand experience is always good. I also would be concerned if re-holstering in leather would be an issue.

I have always liked the all black rear and night front, more focus and less distraction. I guess it is each their own preference, but will let you know when installed and used. Also if I experience any holstering issues.

Try focusing on your front sight only. I black all our rear sights. Unless you're running a LE style top snap unit, the rear sight shouldn't be an issue.

I think it's more about my vision, I need glasses to read close up, nothing for distance. I think the white dots at the rear allow me to pick up and align the sight easier without glasses. Without a white dot on a Glock, from the rear what I see is a all the same black color, even with a different color up front. I left a set of all black sights on the rear one of my Glocks for almost a year, never could shoot that gun accurately with any sense of urgency.

Big E3, you should look into an RMR (or something similar). That seems to be the ticket for guys with vision problems. Dot goes center mass, press, repeat as needed.

With my vision issues, I love the EOTech on my AR but have no desire to attempt a RMR on my carry guns. Just too many guns to equip and too much bulk. I only see a need for the ability to one hand rack the slide on a carry gun and that's the issue here. In a range gun the RMR would be a hoot, and that may happen.

This seems like an invented problem for a tacticool solution.

I have never had any issue doing a one hand rack with any glocks running any of the sights I have ever used- I have performed one hand rack on holster and on heel of boot with following sights without issue:

glock plastic rear (I can see snapping this off on a really really bad day)
sevigny comp
warren comp (extends to rear of slide- not much of a lip)
ameriglo (every glock model at some point in time- including the sloped-front rear that comes with the big dot front)
trijicon... Yeah.

Anyone have an incidence they can name where their rear sight failed on them, or was too smooth to allow a holster or boot rack?

I probably don't have the same experience as many of you, but the curved edges I think will make this a bit easier for the less advanced (i.e. Me)....yeah, I know.....practice, practice, practice... Also, it replaces the factory sights with solid rear black so it will be much easier to pick up the front night sight. For $20.00 to replace the rear sight I feel good about the investment.

For $20 I think you did alright. Anything that gets rid of the glock plastic is a step in the right direction.
