FACTS TO PONDER :

(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000.

(B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000.
(Calculation) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171

Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health Human Services.

Now think about this:

Guns:
(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000.

(Yes, that's 80 million..)

(B) The number of accidental gun deaths
per year, all age groups, is 1,500.

(Calculation) The number of accidental deaths
per gun owner is .000188

Statistics courtesy of FBI

So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners. Remember, 'Guns don't kill people, doctors do.'

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT

ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR. Please alert your friends to this alarming threat. We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!

Out of concern for the public at large, I withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention.

This is kind of like that allstate commercial. They say that people who switched to allstate(From Geico) saved on average about $500 or something. Which seems like alot, but why would they switch from Geico to Progressive if they wern't saving money anyways?

'Guns don't kill people, doctors do.'

So, does this mean that when I go to make a field pronouncement, it's the doctors fault when I call for the order to stop resucitation and he grants it?

I think the gun deaths should be lower and blamed on the doctors for not saving them due to accidental gunshot wounds but they could have been saved had it not been for the doctor.[Flower]

Dude, non taken. This isn't the first time I've read that statistic elsewhere. I was just making a joke so I didn't have to take the blame when I decided to call a pronouncement. 13 yrs of doing this shit. . . ya gotta have a really twisted sense of humor!! And believe me, that I do have!!! [Muaha]
