Vortex Strikefire or Bushnell AR 1X32 ?

Both used, appear to be in same condition. Vortex is 30% higher price. Going to be put on beater barn rifle.


Edit - misread email price difference negligible. Same/same.

Never used either, but you can't beat Vortex's warranty. Something to consider.

I put a Vortex on his gun. On sale and free shipping. I wish I bought on for myself. I like the EOtech a bit more. But it is 2 or 3 times the price. I think most the Vortex stuff is good, but the warranty is great and the way the family seems decent. I think they also own Wildbirds Unlimited.

I had a Strikefire for a long time and loved it. The dot was too big for my taste but it was very rugged. I think I read the newer ones might have an auto shutoff which would be nice. The power button is easy to bump and they're power hogs so the battery will die pretty quickly. Great sight for the money though. And perfect I think for the use you mentioned.
