This should prove interesting:
North Carolina --(Ammoland.com)- Nobody wants those who are a danger to themselves or others to possess firearms or other weapons.
Based on a long history of supporting gun control, it is clear that neither the head of ATF & DOJ, Attorney General Eric Holder or his boss, President Obama want even sane Americans to bear effective weapons that enable them to defend themselves and their families.
This makes it unsurprising that they are now proposing to expand the definition of “mental defective” and “committed to a mental institution” to capture more Americans, most of whom pose no danger to themselves or others. Spurred by Obama’s Executive Order, the ATF is now proposing changes that will increase the number of prohibited persons under federal law by expanding the statutory definitions of both “mental defective” and “committed to a mental institution.”

Well when they announce the rule changes we can blow up the comment section (with sane responses). They can then ignore them but they do have to respond to each one first.

Until then we got nothing new to be outraged about.

The more noise we make now, the less likely it will ever get to the proposed rule stage. We've already lost if they propose a rule about it.

You are assuming an appointed bureaucrat is going to care at all what the citizens they rule say.

They have delayed implantation of CLEO sign off on trust, pending further study. Not to mention having to read and respond to every complaint received.

I've only heard it is being delayed since they have to respond to everyone. Have heard nothing about further study.

Are officers required to seek psych help in some shootings? Would this affect their ability to possess firearms? I suspect it would.

Question to ask every legislator over the next 7 months: What are you doing to ensure the Obama Administration is enforcing the laws as written instead of as they would like them to be on any given day?

So let's see, how many states now require pre marriage counseling and pre divorce counseling.
How's that gonna work?
They go through with this how many LEO will end up "prohibited persons"?
Fail a whiz quiz or alcohol test at work and have to see a counselor to keep your job?
Ol Lady and you having problems and see a marriage counselor?
Bummed because your grandma died and you talked to a shrink?
Your kid gets into a beef at school and has to see an anger management counselor?
Bounced a check and have to talk to a financial counselor?

The possibilities are endless and this would be strife with abuses.

All they are doing is expanding an ever growing underground market on firearms by using another saul alinsky tactic to try and deprive Americans of their fundamental right.

The cocksucker in the white house and all of his EO made up bullshit should be disregarded.

Kind of like how we all did with the NFA changes?
