So, I'm heading to Denver tomorrow. Might be heading down Hwy 36 or i70. Going as far south as 6th St.

Looking for a place that would have digital audio converters and/or external hard drives.

Ideas?

This... Microcenter is the size of best buy but it only has computer equipment. Its crazy what that store has.

Its off of I25 and I225.

Yeah Microcenter is about the only game left in town to buy computer stuff at a decent price.

Depending on what you are looking for. Micro Center has everything.. but our own forum member, mark owns ACTION COMPUTER off I25 and Colorado and 2nd location on Wads between US36 and I70.

If you know what you want in advance and have time to wait for it .. amazon will kick Microcenter in the teeth for price... esp if you have a prime account. I only go to microcenter when I have to have it right now and can't wait a couple days.

On most stuff, yes. I am an Amazon Prime member but still like to shop local.

Going to microcenter can be as entertaining as a trip to walmart - if you know what I mean.

Sadly, half the staff there could use a little eduction on personal hygiene. Almost as bad as the gun shows.

I dealt with three different people. Two knew these stuff pretty well and the third was smart enough to know who to talk to.

It's not like going to Home Depot.

Nice to know they will price match.

The People Can't Part thread would get a lot of mileage from this parking lot. [Wink]
