Any one shooting em. I have a friend who's thinking about buying the molds for em (magma bullet master). He'd be willing to sell them if there's interest. I shoot em and all my guns love em (sig 1911, SA 1911, G21, G30)...

Just want to get some others opinions on shooting em, and if you say anything about shooting lead out of a glock, go somewhere else and complain about it.

I know what you mean. A bullet's a bullet. So what if it's not jacketed. I cast my own bullets quite often, and as long as you keep your gun clean, it's not a major issue.

I shoot the 225RNFP from Colorado Cast. Bought them at the Shooting Den several months ago. They shoot good. I usually only shoot lead anyways. They are cheaper and readily available.
I try to stay away from the softer type lube, which the above has. It packes into the seater and crimp die and needs to be cleaned out periodically. Buy hard lube type if you have a choice. Also get a quality bullet. I believe 16 on the BHN scale is good (don't hold me to that). I have shot poor quailty "home cast" and it fouled the barrel on short order. On the other hand I have put 300 - 400 rounds through the barrel without cleaning between range sessions.

Getting back to your original quesiton I would shoot that bullet all the time if I could get it with hard lube. I bought some 230gr RN today at the gun show in C.S. A guy from Woodland Park makes them. Price is OK. the best part is he is local. Will get some loaded up and post a report. Also bought a package of 125gr RN 9mm. Will report the same.
