Made of a stronger polymer then pmags supposedly use a better follower for a more positive bolt lock back
Much to dangerous for anyone in co to own :(
Two piece design stuck together with lock tabs? No thanks.
Looks like Tapco built it for them or something.

I think it's pretty safe to say that Magpul has and always will own the AR-15 magazine world. $12.95 for a mag that has been proven to work and be reliable is pretty hard to beat.

They used to say the same thing about USGI mags until someone came along with a better idea. While I agree that Magpul has the best product out there right now, I wouldn't go so far as to say that they'll "always own the market."

The Tango Down magazines have been around for several years. They seem to be a pretty good product.... not that we can buy any of them..
My only kick against the Tango Down mags is that the rounds stack in the opposite direction as normal. Small thing I know...

Yup. Have a half dozen or so of them. Don't have any problems with them functioning.
Problem is you can't take them apart and clean them.

Oh dont worry, they glue them together with some special nifty airplane glue

My dad actually has a few tango down ones that look VERY similar to these. I handled them and they felt cheap, but I never used them. By that point I had plenty of p mags. I agree that there might someday be something better, but without changing the design of the mag (and even changing the design of the gun they fit in), you can only engineer one design so much.
