I have a Glock 19. The slide does not lock after the last round in the mag. I have tried new and old mags. Any suggestions?

Replace the slide stop would be my first guess. How many rounds through this pistol?

What kind of ammo are you using? UMC caused my G17 to not lock back due to being under powered.

Probably 10,000 or more. It's over 20yrs old. I was shooting Freedom Munitions REMAN.
Could be ammo but I'm guessing that it's time to replace some stuff , like BP said I'd probably start with the slide stop.

I had a Gen2 G17 with 17,000+ rounds through it. I ended up replacing the slide stop at somewhere between 8k and 10k because I needed to and again at ~15k because I felt like it was time. As BP and Mazin said, I'd also recommend replacing it.
I'd also suggest replacing the recoil guide rod (assuming it's plastic) and spring if you haven't done so recently.

Great suggestions. I'll start with the slide lock and work my way around.

Before you start swapping parts, take a few minutes one day and shoot it one handed to verify that your grip isn't slightly riding the slide stop and preventing last round hold open.

I have also had some 9mm Freedom Munitions REMAN Ammo that felt
Like it was lighter loads.

My father always told me to seek professional help. I just didn't realize he was referring to firearms. Thanks for the help.
