Will be a good show. Also, parking is free. Next year is the 50th anniv show - there will be a lot of cool displays.

Went to that a couple years ago, definitely a lot of uber rare and cool guns there! I'd love to take my camera, but it probably ain't allowed.

I went down last night to see where our table was and wander around a bit.

Lots of cool old guns and gear to look at and read about. I was thinking about the stories that would be told if these guns could talk.

I'll see more today after we get set up.

Where is your table at? I'll swing by and check it out tomorrow.

"Still tons of people sell garbage".
i have never attended one of these "collector" shows but I thought they allowed ONLY old/antique C&R type firearms to be displayed and sold???

There are a boatload of Winchester lever guns but I couldn't tell you if the guy you're looking for is there or not.

Supposed to be old/antique/out-of-production/c&r/pre-vietnam/pinned-and-recessed/no-ak/no-ar type stuff and 98% of it is. I saw Kimber 1911s and post 1980 Smith revolvers with locks so the rules aren't that strict.

I enjoyed my Saturday there, looking at Civil War stuff and learning about revolving pepperboxes, revolver development, and late 1800s Marlin lever guns.

I was referring to non firearms. I saw I M-14 and a few glocks ( not sure why?) The thing i look for when i go are the competitive displays I love reading the who history aspect of the firearms. I really like the Revolutionary fire arms display that had been passed down something like 7 generations in one family.

I am so jaded to the trash I see at Tanner I probably missed those tables although the lady next to us was selling costume jewelry, LOL, Glocks.

The history is incredible, especially the family history. Glad you enjoyed yourself, I had fun too.

I'm mostly a pistol guy and I love older automatics. Although for some reason I can't explain, Lugers leave me cold (but one guy had a .45 ACP Luger ). Saw some nice S&W pocket .35's and a couple of nice Harrington & Richardson's (copies of a Webley auto design).

Most of the prices I saw were definitely, "No, I don't want to sell" prices. A lot of utterly ridiculous pricing. But one guy had a bunch of Savage pocket pistols at closer to reasonable. It was difficult to keep myself from buying those.

Not hard to keep from buying the rest.
