Amazing how the "elite" are so concerned about the 1% and corporate greed, castigate republican woman , us as bitter clingers.
YET SPARE no expense when it comes to them and their own. Hypocrisy, that's being too kind.

I ran in to 2 owners in of all places WM. What they say about the e/roamer is something, IF income was not an issue, one would be added to our collection .

I think in terms of realistic bug out projects for the future, I'd really like to build an old FSJ or Suburban into something like this:

Get an old mechanical 12V 6bT Cummins and feed it 10% used and filtered motor oil w/ biodiesel and be set for (what's left of your) life after civilization. No EGRs, no DPFs, no ECMs, no headaches.

Saw one at the fairgrounds and talked to the guy. Very cool rig, still seems like a bit much for what it is.

So you want something that is going to eat your tires in less then a mile once it is off the lift? All the power to ya.

The camber stress and weight are less pronounced than anything posted before, including the Earth romer.

It was a highly satirical joke with the other vehicles as an option. After working with a french guy for 25 some hours with no sleep i think his humor wore off on me. If you have to work with it i guess it is a good thing, at least i am not inclined to shove his sock down his throat anymore. I owned a late 70's K20 pickup and to this day think it was the most indestructible vehicle i have ever had and with a modernish mechanical diesel it would be a great work horse. The old 6.2l? chevy diesel was so under powered i am glad people are rethinking the wheel on this one.

Kinda cool RV there (Ferren's KiraVan) but where's the gun safe? OTOH, I'm not surprised Kazoo ran into EarthRoamer owners in a WM -- gotta save money somewhere when you're dropping that kind of money on a camping vehicle. I admit I'd love to have one of those in the driveway but I could do a LOT of good for our local Scout council AND do a lot of traveling for the kind of bank an ER would cost. I'll just make do with my Expedition.
