Really sad story and it's something I've frequently worried about. What happens to my dogs if something happens to me. This lady is dying and needs a home for her dog. Just thought I'd post here in case someone is looking for a friend:

One of the news channels did a report on Pat and Sherlock. Hopefully it will drive some folks to them for adoption.

hopefully he can find a good home--the idiotic denver and aurora breed bans sure limits the field of potential adopters

yes it does. So will the proposal from boulder for DNA testing, to as they put it. determine whose dogs are leaving shit all over town. Under the guise of poop patrol, they would have info to determine which dogs could be considered dangerous, even if they didn't look like a pitbull, mastiff, samoyed etc.

I know a lady who does fostering for a pit rescue. I'll pass this along to her. Thanks for posting it.

Talk about sad stories, the next article on that site is heartbreaking:

Poor Manny. The sad excuse for people that gave him up should be flogged in public.

Oh, that does suck. Just what someone like that needs...another dog to abuse and abandon. Sickening.
