pasting problems

I seem to be unable to paste things in the reply box anymore. Can't paste links, videos, photos, etc. Any ideas/suggestions? Got a new computer. Also seem to be having typing/keyboard grief too, lots of missing letters and mistakes. Just this site, no problems with email or other forums. Can't highlight text either.

Pissing me off.

What browser and OS?

Windows 7 and the latest IE. Isn't a constant problem, I just typed a reply in the canning thread with no problems. But this one is giving me hell. Seems to be thread or forum related?

Might I suggest canning IE and using FireFox or Chrome?

But, if you stick with IE, are you using the Compatibility View setting (icon of a torn page usually to the right of the URL @ the top of your browser)?

BTW, what are you doing with your old PC? Is it still usable? I know Bert could stand to get a Windows 7 PC if that's an option.

I tried the Compatibility View thing and that seems to have fixed it, thanks!!!!

I should be able to put something in the code to automatically trigger the compatibility mode. I'll put that in to avoid the issue with other users.
