Questions and Advice on First Supressor

Rod set up my trust yesterday so it is time to start the process for my first suppressor. I would like several in the long run; 22lr, pistols, and long range. I think I am going to go with the long range can first. TBAC seems like the one to get for accuracy. Is this still the consensus? Also, is it feasible to use the same can on a 7.62 and a 5.56 or will I need to buy two? I currently have an AR-15 that can drive nails and am looking at the Crusader Weaponry Longbow for the same performance in 7.62. Thanks, Casey

I've only shot another members AAC SDN-6 in 7.62. Works great on my 5.56.

I'd get a dedicated .22 can that you can disassemble, and a 7.62 for 7.62/5.56. If you have the funds, by all means get a dedicated can for each caliber.

But I am a newbie as well, i have two cans in the queue now.

Whatever you do, only buy a can that your dealer actually has on the shelf or just are just adding huge amounts of time to the process.

There are a few Thunderbeast dealers in Colorado and one of them is a Forum Partner, Silent Precision. Highly recommended.

Thunderbeast makes the most accurate cans out there. Also highly recommended.

AAC wouldn't be my choice in a precision can , Google there customer service and mount issues .

You have an issue with a TBAC can , not likely but if , you'll be able to get somebody on the phone and answers in the same call unlike AAC .

TBAC is the way to go for a precision can .

What ever you get as echoed already, find one in stock. Paper filing is 11 months, add 3+ for transfer to ffl and you're close to 1.5 years. If i had the cash and starting out as you are, i'd get a .308 and 22 can, perhaps 2 of each and go for it.

The TBAC is the way to go for precision. I run one on my Dpms 6.5 Creedmoor and it is awesome. Tighted my groups a 1/4" if you have any questions, you can call them and actually talk to someone during that call, only once did I have to wait for someone to call me back, and that was only because they where at lunch.
