Bloomberg has filed a complaint with fb based on their name "copyright" With fb being anti gun I doubt us gun owners will get a positive outcome. Then again, stranger things have happened.
Is anyone else laughing at the statement that i keep hearing "Bloomberg has spent $40 million dollars to start a grassroots program". I guess the bloomtard movement can use the right words because it does not take a cent to start a grassroots movement. Just remember Bloomberg started an office here and we will have a fight on our hands very soon with the election year upon us.
Program or movement aren't the key words here, it's grassroots. Grassroots indicates it starts at the bottom and works its way up as it grows. Starting off with 50 million from a billionaire is starting from the top and recruiting on downward.
More curious about Facebook taking down the page. Typical BS but if that is how this group will go about doing their business, I think the NRA and other groups can expose how they operate and this will blow up on Bloomberg pretty quick.

They are getting epically trolled now: https://www.facebook.com/everytownforgunsafety.org
It would be funny if it wasn't sad.

They are using the right word there. A movement starts at the bottom with the purpose of changing the top, a program starts at the top to change the bottom.
It is the grassroots part that is inappropriate. While Bloomberg is part of the grass roots he appears to be buying his movement which doesn't make it grassroots.
We'll surely have a fight here. He must have promised help for the people that voted against their constituents wishes.

A thing of beauty.
I hope Bloomingidiot realizes he is badly out numbered.
Even a fair amount of lefties realize the gun is not the issue here.

Hence the current focus on making sure only the right people have guns with extended universal BG checks.

One more reason I don't do Facebook.
Facebook now has Bloomies back.
If you support Facebook, you support domestic terrorism. [panic]

No, I think it's the other way around. Facebook keeps deleting pages of all the domestic terrorrizers, right? [Dunno]
One side wants to tear down the 2nd Amendment. Those are the bad guys.

That depends entirely on your point of view.
The actions FB took were inevitable. Got your fun and some good publicity while it lasted though.

Sounds more like 1st amendment being restricted.
If they have the copyright/trademark then FB had to comply. Likely legal action was threatened and the people having fun killed the pages too.
It's all fun and games till the litigation starts.
Sent by a free-range electronic weasel, with no sense of personal space.

When the DHS comes in and shuts the board down because we're all a bunch of terrorists the 1st claim can be made. Until then it is private citizens (and the companies/property they control) acting as they see fit.
Monky has it right, FB had to respond to a copyright infringement. FB may have enjoyed doing so or maybe not. It was generating lots of views and publicity so FB was probably making more money off our satire pages than they will off the real one.
We can still troll their official page...
