View Full Version : Anybody Else Watching "Turn - America's First Spy Ring"?
The first episode felt like I was dropped into something already in progress. After the second episode, things are coming together and it has my attention.
I probably like it since I find Revolutionary Era history quite interesting. It's the story about the Culper Ring.

Agreed. Someone needs to hang Simcoe.
New season started last week, anyone else still watching?
I must admit, I never finished last season. I have too much competition for my "free time".

Spoiler.....
Gonna be problems with Andrade trying to hook up with spychick. Anyone know why the NYC innkeeper was so hostile toward Woodhole?

I've been watching. Some of the history is messed up so they can make it dramatic but I'd much rather watch this than the latest unReality TV crap or the usual cultural filth from ABC/NBC/CBS/CW/Fox/etc..
Singlestack, the innkeeper's name was Robert Townsend. Look it up and you can probably figure out what was going on.

I'm enjoying this second season but pretty frustrated at the way they're distorting the real history. I'm frustrated because they really don't need to do it -- the real history was very dramatic itself.
