What do you guys think?
I think you could find a nice Morgul Blade to hang on your wall at that blade shop at the Aurora Mall.

Then your foes will be turned into your very own Wraith Army!
Sorry I just had to!
I haven't really thought of dealing with hand to hand as of yet on my gear. Looking forward to seeing what others have.
Personally for a fighting knife I don't like the knuckle guards. Makes it too complicated to switch holds or swap to the other hand quickly if needed.

I think you just can't get the east coast out of some people ;)
IF, IF you were in an encounter and it got down to hand - hand, the last thing you'd want is something you couldn't release fast enough, IF your opponent were to get hold of the grip. You fingers will be broke, and still have a hold on it. It's too bulky, it's too..................
Them fukers that close, it's time for the belly band pistol. Going toe - toe never pans out.

Good for kitchen... knife and tenderizer in one.
I'd love to have an ORIGINAL trench knife for my collection, but have no "use" for one otherwise. For fighting, I'd be happy with a new repro of the USMC Kabar. I plan to avoid knife fights though, or any other kind of fights.

It's all fun and games until some body hacks up a hairball......
When I was a kid I thought the knife in the movie Cobra was the coolest knife ever, not so much now.

I took up long range shooting so that I can not have to get close.
Some folks work on combatives for the close up fight.... I practice wind holds so no one gets close enough for me to worry about.
That being said, after events from earlier this month, this guy is in my desk drawer: http://www.crkt.com/M60-SOTFB-Black-Tanto-Combo-Edge?&search_id=773213 and this guy ( http://www.coldsteel.com/Product/38CK/SRK(SURVIVAL_RESCUE_KNIFE).aspx ) is in my 'elephant escort' backpack.

I don't think that's necessarily the right mindset to have :D
