View Full Version : Anyone still paintball?
Just found my old paintball gun from 15 years ago. Does anyone here still paintball? I used to have a blast doing it, if there are a good few people here that do it, maybe we can setup some woods games in the future.

Yes, I sure do. When and where?
I tried it a few times in the Army and liked it, but since living in the barracks prohibited me from owning a paintball gun I didn't stick with it. Then when I got out I was a poor college student and couldn't afford it. Now, I spend all my money on guns that have louder bangs.

My brother and I still do every know and then. We usually go to Blitz in Erie.
Been a while since I made it to play but I have a mess of gear and would love to get out and play.

I miss all my old guns. Sold them to buy another real one. I lived to ambush my older sisters friends as they would come by late at night occasionally and try to teepe the house. They were met with full auto fire.

It has been about 15 years since I played, too.
I would be up for getting back into it, but I'll be damned if I go play on one of those open fields with obstacles. My friends and I used to play 5v5 in dense woods with full camo. Some matches would go upwards of 5 hours. Only way to play in my opinion.

I'd be in too, though it's been some time since I've played woods ball. My shtick is airball.
Instead of a new thread I though I'd revive an old one. My son, who is 8, was just asking about paintball. I know he's got a couple of years the he can play at any of the local fields but now I want to go play again. Anyone playing on a semi regular basis?
I would be interested in playing.

I'm ready anytime, let me know, I'm happy to play on the north or south end of Denver or anywhere in between. I haven't played in about 12 years so it should be interesting. :)

Why can'y a manufacturer engineer an electronic rapid-fire trigger on a real firearm?
I'm going to organize a regular PB game this coming summer. Some sort of woods ball, not at a course. We will organize people to come meet and play in the woods, camo welcome.
If anyone has extra gear (markers, paint, CO2, nitrogen, masks) and is willing to share, I'm sure we could get more players willing to pay for the equipment, gas, paint and wear/tear and make the games more fun.
Mostly a gentleman's game, but a chrono will be available if anything is questionable about speed. 300fps max, self enforced, if unsure, chrono your marker.
I'm thinking rampart range, good central spot. One match per month organized, but people can meet up more often if they desire,
Sound good to everyone?
Oh I haven't played PB in ages - that would be a good way to get some of us together.
In other words I am game

I'm in, I'm just starting to collect gear again but I got a good start tonight. :) I'd be happy to foot the bill for a couple of loaner markers (Tipman 98's or ????) if we can get people to come play.

Where do you usually play? I haven't had a chance to play in a long time and I'm looking forward to it. Let me know if you're going anytime soon.

For scenario games, I have been playing in some of the DMS Scenario games, Battle of Powderhorn, and APC's Red Dawn.
DMS has a game coming up in May. Band of Brothers: Operation Market Garden on May 30-31, 2015.
I haven't played woodsball in a long time, but there is a spot off of bunce school road that I like.

I used to play a lot at apc indoors. Played in a few of their tourneys and did ok being our team of 3 was much older then the rest of the players. Would play every weekend and got to know the owner pretty well as he was the same age as us. Ended up getting out of the game due to cost and time. Sold my marker (planet eclipse ego) and all the other stuff I had to fund my first AR build. Still have all my paintball pants and jerseys and still wear them while riding the dirtbike.
Pants would have been a GOOD thing!!!

How are we going to fill our tanks? I only have one HPA tank.
I do have two spare masks to loan.
filling tanks could be an issue depending on how long we play and how many spares people have. Maybe there will be people with extra spares willing to loan them out for fill cost. Of course people will have to plan to top off their tanks before hand.
It's been a while since I've played, but don't most decent size tanks get 1000+ shots from full fill. I don't think I can remember ever killing a full tank playing woods ball. Not as many shots as on a course.

I dont have any gear... but I would be down to spend a little money in the interest of nailing you guys with paintball guns lol jk
If the rain ever stops we should try to get a game together.
I just took a look at mine. Looks like this one. I miss paintballing.
