Any member businesses going to be at this weekend's Gun Show ? what kind of deals do you have ?
I would be interested to see if there's any Reloder 15 for sale there at sane pricing.

Me and my cousin are headed up Sunday morning.
Oooh, let's see, range, or Tanner crowds and overpriced schtuff...um, I'm thinking range. Have to try out the new shotgun and Walther PPQ 9mm. And sight in the iron backups on the 3gun AR. And whatever else I can think of to keep from going to Tanner. Yeah, you guys have fun, I'm going to choot sumpin"!!!

Any reports (good, bad or shitty) of this weekends Tanner Denver gun show? Any .22 ammo there and it's prices?[Rant2]
Cheapest 22lr ammo I saw yesterday was $40/500. Also saw $79/brick and $20 for a box of 50. Not a huge crowd, but steady with the typical 11-2 surge.

It was depressing...I avoided the show on Saturday, and opted to goto the range. On Sunday, out of my better judgement, I went to the show...Honestly, I can't see my self returning...

I was there from 9-12 scored a good deal on a new scope and some silver.
I went yesterday. Was there from about 10:00 to 11:00. Wasn't terribly crowded. Didn't look around at everything. Found something I was about to order online for the same price but I didn't have to eat shipping.

Thanks for the updates especially about the .22 ammo prices. Glad I didn't make the 400+ mile round trip to attend a mediocre show.
The new Colorado laws along with the current ammo prices have sure put a big damper on our Colorado gun shows. [Mad]

BG checks have been in place @ GS's for over a decade. The mag ban however, does put a kink in shopping.

G-K, you are correct, I should not have said "new" lawS (plural) as the old BGC requirements have been screwing up the gun shows here in CO for over ten years. I will attempt to be more careful on future comments. [Beer]

Are the Tanner shows even worth it anymore? I'm eying pistols for both my wife and I. Figured I'd give Tanner and the local guys a shot next go round but if it's not even worth my time then I won't bother.

Save your time and the $16 entrance fee (you and wife) and use it to apply towards your FFL transfer fee when ordering online or your $10 CBI BGC at your local dealer. Gun shows in general will rarely be a place to find a deal like they were in the 80's and early 90's.
All the doom and gloom. I've actually picked up a few nice deals at the show. I paid a fair price, sometimes on a hard to find gun, and helped support the locals.
