I was never really overly compelled to get either an AK or AR pistol. Besides being compact and maybe a fun gun I didn't see them being very practical. Now by adding the arm brace it seems like this can be pretty functional. Some of the AK purists might not like the look but some of these additions will help. I added the Manticore Nightbrake which from what I have seen takes away most the muzzle rise, Midwest Industries rail and Magpul AFG. I put on a Tromix enhanced charging handle to see if I like it, I will have to wait to try it and see. Still going to add a Hogue grip and a micro red dot, thinking about the Primary Arms.

Anyone out there have any recommendations for a good red dot for it?

So far I'm really liking it, can't wait to take it out and shoot it...

A Burris fast fire variant is a decent micro red dot I have a fast fire 2 and I love it

I definitely want it low profile so that might be a good candidate. I traded for a fastfire 2 a while back and put it on a Mossberg 12g, didn't like it and traded it away. I might think different of it on this...

I definitely wouldn't go with anything bigger than an Aimpoint H1/T1. Anything larger just adds too much bulk and weight in my opinion.

Unless you go with the dedicated MI optic top hand guard, nothing will co- witness. I have a FF 2 & 3, that are as close as you'll get. I'm thinking of going back to wood hg's and run a side rail mount.. If I remember, I'll post a pic or 2 of bothoptionsn

Yeah besides the weight I definitely want to avoid the bulk hanging off the front end. Lean and mean...

If I were to ad a red dot to my M92 it would be using this.

I have been looking at that as well. My concern with it would be that with the brace being short that it might be harder to get behind the red dot on it to see through it. It might not be an issue at all but that was something I thought about. I actually like the idea of the optic being farther back on it anyways, looks better in that configuration to me than being out front...

No affects. The Burris surefire on the other hand is having issue. The reticle adjustment screw detached and now it cannot be adjusted. Good thing they have life time warranty

Pretty much done with it. Finished up with a Hogue grip, rail panels and Primary Arms Micro. Only thing that I might consider is the loop adapter for a single point sling and possibly a Stormwerkz rail if I don't end up liking where the optic currently sits. Mean little fucker...
