I tried to follow this but trying to make sure I have this right....

Thought I would share what happened here. Correct me if I am wrong here.

Bloomie announces a new way to grab guns and turn media against guns but forgets to build a facebook page for it.

Pro gun folks build it first using the name of his new gun grabbing group and the page becomes popular very quickly.

Bloomie pays facebook off or threatens them with some lawsuit so Facebook ends up killing the page that the pro gunners built.

Bloomie makes his site using the old page that the pro gunners beat him to the punch on; page is wiped clean of all likes and material before Bloomie puts all sorts of anti gun info on it.

Pro Gunners then bombard his page with common sense and the page is again taken down.

Now we have this page https://www.facebook.com/everytownforgunsafety1?fref=nf which I think is run by the same guys that beat Bloomie to the punch and 99% of the stuff they post mocks anti gunners. This page needs more likes! Looks like they just took the name and put a space between Every and Town? I assume that Bloomie will relaunch his page in a few weeks when things die down?

Am I missing anything here? Correct me if I am wrong on the timeline.

You know, I don't worry about it when Bloomberg spends tons of his cash on his anti-gun dribble, because those are millions of his $$ that are not getting funneled into an anti-gun politicians campaign. Let him continue to spend his money and waste it, he's not changing anyone's mind and certainly not making any more friends.

My understanding is the guys who built it, took it down on there own. They posted an explanation somewhere about their choice.

Why would they do that? Took it down on their own after facing a choice of get sued or take it down?

Ah went back on the timeline and found this...

Yesterday, Facebook removed us because bloomberg said we violated his rights.

What about our violated first amendment rights? They dont matter?

"Please invite people here, we are going back on line monday.

His money cant buy TRUTH"

And this:

Bloombergs henchmen decided to shut down my satire page...

Revamping this one monday

Ah, thanks, interesting. I can only imagine the financial damage a lawsuit would cause even if they beat Bloomberg.
