Website: http://www.eztrimit.com/
Price: 97.50 with 223 and 308, additional calibers are 14.95.
Note: I've only had this for 2 days, and processed about 50 pieces of brass so far, so it's not a long term review.
It's an alternative to the WFT. More like the WFT II, where you can change out the dies for different sizes of brass. This one comes with both 223 and 308. Apparently the 308 trimmer can also do 303 british and others, 223 probably can also do double duty.
Anyways, this hooks up to your drill or drill press and quickly trims your brass much quicker than hand cranking. Also, this is the type of trimmer that spaces off the shoulder to correctly size the neck, not OAL. Remember that when you check your OAL that it won't be a consistent length, but should be close if you full length resize your brass. That's OK though, because the important measurement in brass being "too long" is the shoulder to edge of the neck length.
Using it is simple enough:
Loosen up the allen keys on the unit, and insert the die you want to use, tighten the key that holds that piece in.
Take the piece of brass you want to use as your model length, and insert into the die, and then place the whole thing so the brass is on the table at the bottom, with this above it. Tighten up the other allen keys so that the cutter head is resting firmly on the neck of your proper length brass. The sleeve has an additional allen key that lets you twist it, acting like a micrometer to adjust the finely adjust the length you need to get to.
Then put it in the drill chuck and start trimming your brass.
This doesn't chamfer at all, so you'll still have to do that step to fully prep your brass, but its an extremely quick trimmer to get everything down to size. I also found that I didn't need anything but my fingers to grip the brass while it's trimming. Of course brass shavings do need somewhere to go, so you'll need a shop vac handy if you're doing a lot of brass!
Much better than any hand trimmer for speed of processing. I like it, and I like that out of the box you can do several different sizes of brass, and new sizes are cheap without needing a whole new unit.
