Larry Correia's "solution" to the silly twitter hash tag nonsense about the Boko Haram abductions:

This guy took the parking spot I wanted the other day, so I went all hashtag on him with #douchedrivesbmw. That'll teach him!
After looking at those pics, I feel like returning may freshly purchased girls..
Wait! I don't have any freshly purchased girls. Or an other for that matter.

I did have to point out that the line had to be red. No one is afraid if you draw a blue line in the sand.

hashtag... hashbrown... WTF are you guys even talking about?
That article points something out that I've been saying for years! Especially the caption under Moochelle's picture "Don’t tell me about it, go tell your husband. He’s the one with the red phone." The same thing happened with Kony, and pretty much everything else that garners national social media attention and reproduces in the form of whining, hashtagging, and otherwise a whole lot of talk and nothing else. These people claim they want something done, yet they believe that their incessant attention whoring on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and anywhere else is actually going to fix the problem. It won't. Short of a covert operation, or hiring a group of soldiers of fortune to go do the dirty work that your average person wouldn't (or much less couldn't) even fathom doing, these evil people will continue on regardless of what moronic celebrity-of-the-week selfie/hashtag/bullshit says.

Ronin- did you say Slacktivism?? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slacktivism
Slacktivism (sometimes slactivism or slackervism) is a portmanteau (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portmanteau) of the words slacker (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slacker) and activism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Activism). The word is usually considered a pejorative term that describes "feel-good" measures, in support of an issue or social cause, that have little or no practical effect other than to make the person doing it take satisfaction from the feeling they have contributed. The acts tend to require minimal personal effort from the slacktivist. The underlying assumption being promoted by the term is that these low cost efforts substitute for more substantive actions rather than supplementing them, although this assumption has not been borne out by research.[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slacktivism#cite_note-Davis_2011-1)
