Hi everyone. I'm just getting back into AR ownership. I had a Colt A2 Sporter for over 10 years and sold it about 8 years ago. I've had a lot of different firearms since then and nothing ever seemed to match the enjoyment I had had shooting that old Colt. I just finished my first AR build. It is hard to describe how cool it is to build your own weapon then take it to the range and have it perform flawlessly.
My build: YHM lower, RRA lower parts kit, Timney drop in single stage 3# trigger, Vietnam era A1 buttstock with H1 buffer, RRA A2 upper, RRA chromed BCG, Del-ton 16" dissipator barrel with rifle length gas system, Vietnam era triangle handgards.
I do most of shooting at the free public range in Summit County near Keystone.
