Hello All,

As you may know, with an “F” rating by the NRA Senator Mark Udall (D) is not a friend of the Second Amendment. He most recently voted in favor of restricting magazine capacity to 10 rounds or less, and expanding background checks (a good idea, if only they worked and weren’t a path to gun registration). Now, Mark Udall is running against Corey Gardner (R) for re-election.

Udall currently enjoys a commanding lead among women voters of 15-17 points, depending on the poll. This is bad news for gun rights supporters, especially women who want the freedom to choose how best to defend themselves and their families.

Mandy Connell, host of 630 KHOW in the mornings, mentioned www.BreakUpWithMarkUdall.org (http://www.breakupwithmarkudall.org/) on her show Thursday, May 8 (about 129 minutes into the show). Mandy will be running a series of interviews next week speaking to women, to understand why they are so much in favor of Mark Udall. The website is run by volunteers (full disclosure, I am one of them) who have developed electronic ads/memes designed to encourage women voters to think twice about voting for Mark Udall.

Mark Udall’s $400 million in earmarks have helped push the federal debt to $17.6 trillion, more than the value of the entire U.S. economy. In a period of rising interest rates, the huge debt threatens America’s economic security. Women voters really need to understand that any threat to what liberals refer to as “reproductive rights” is insignificant compared to the threat this massive federal indebtedness poses to our country.

I am using the ads to post to Twitter, Facebook, email to friends and family. If you are so-inclined, you may want to do the same. Peeling off even a few percentage points from Mark Udall could make the difference this November, and has the potential to help put the Senate back in the hands of those who understand the true purpose of the Second Amendment and who will protect our Constitutional rights.

All the best.

You're preaching to the choir man. I don't think anyone here needs convincing that Udall is a turd, except maybe Nynco..

im guessing that not many people on this forum have voted for him in the past or would ever consider voting for him.

Hopefully we can vote him and all the others out this election.

JVC, please keep up the good work. May I suggest a page on your site featuring bullet points outlining reasons why Udall should be tossed, and why Gardner should be elected. It would be useful in constructing letters to the editor in newspapers.

The Udall endorsed commercials are already running what will win the women's vote; "Gardner votes against abortion, even in cases of rape and incest, tried to make it a felony". IMO, it's what did Buck in a few years ago. I'm fucking sick of hearing "rape or incest" on every fucking commercial break.

It wasn't until the last few elections that I was around voting women. They make great money, so would want lower taxes. Want less .gov and spending. Most don't have kids so won't vote the school increases. Most own (or I've gotten them into) guns and CCW. But it seems that if you want to take away their "Right to choose", they become one-issue voters. Even if they don't plan to have one themselves.

I'm not here to debate abortion, just shed light on what I've seen since I started paying attention. The best I've been able to do is at least get them to not vote at all if they were going to vote D.

Inform those women The "outlawing" Gardner wanted to do was for 3rd trimester abortions.

The attack ad's against Gardner only increases the donation myself and others send him.

Maybe the lesson here is stay out of our bedrooms. A lot of people on here are 'one issue voters' when it comes to guns. If you want to be elected the less intrusive you are the better.
