Hi All, I moved to Castle Rock with my wife of 17yrs and our 2 dogs about 9 months ago from that west coast state that shall not be named. We had been coming to Colorado for many years since we both have family here and we finally pulled the trigger and made the move. I work in the tech industry and have been into firearms for over 40 years. I'm also into off-roading with my JK, motorcycles(on/off road), and photography.

If anyone knows of any good clean open-air free places to shoot that are relatively close to Castle Rock please let me know.

Hey, I used to live in the People's Republic, just know that if you missed the mountains more than the ocean, you'll be fine.
I though I'd miss the ocean, but it turned out to be the mountains, and ours are better, so it's all good!
Sorry nobody helped out with a range close to Castle Rock, but I'm in Ft. Collins, and don't shoot in your area, although I'm down there regularly.
