For those who have ordered holsters online, what is a good place with a good selection?

Looking for a decent leather belt holster for a Sig 229.

Thanks.

You looking for a large, stocking dealer with multiple brands or just some good, custom holster makers?

Sort answer. Yes. Lol.

Either one really. Really like to look and see what my options are I guess. Might be easier to look at a site that has a variety of options until I determine what I want.

I did recently remember a holster I had years ago for a Glock 19 that I loved. It was a Kramer vertical scabbard made of horsehide. I might just order one of those for my Sig if I don't find another option I like.

I've only bought custom leather holsters and every one is a keeper. They are not cheap especially if you want exotic leather, colored stitching, custom cant angle etc. If that Sig is something special to you, go custom. I have leather holsters from Brommeland Gunleather and Overland Gunleather. Good luck!

I've drooled over the galco and desantis website for months and it have a desantis for my revolver and fit and finish for a mass produce holster is really good. But I ended up buying it at cabelas cause I'm to impatient on shipping.
The only holstered I've ordered was the alien gear hybrid for my xds 45 and I love it, for the price and with shipping it beat that of galcos and white hat's. An added bonus is if you have multiple guns you can order just the shells and lifetime warranty (in sound like a infomercial)

I watch Dvor a lot for good pricing, however you have to be patient and also add their shipping cost. They tend to be high on shipping.

Try "The Holster Store or Williams's gun Leather.
William's is out of KS. And is a member here, I have several of his holsters, great quality leather.

I've been looking for a good IS holster for my HK UPS 40 compact, but just can't seem to find anything comfortable for the small of my back, to wear under a t-shirt.

I've been real happy with the Model-1 Pancake from Lobo gun leather I had him make for my CZ75SA.

Nice leather, good price, quick turn-around and he's a local guy (well, down in Pueblo).

Plus 1 for Highnoon. A bit of a wait sometimes. Mid point in price, and super well made.

Optics planet has a large selection of the mass produced holsters. Make sure you look for a coupon online before you buy. Good luck finding a holster. I don't know about you guys but I seem to have like 3-4 holsters for each pistol....

I know you said leather, but I have to HIGHLY recommend the Garrett! Kydex with full interior leather lining, best of both worlds.

Thanks again guys. I love the kydex stuff but was thinking leather because I have some odd pieces that I am having trouble fitting in anything kydex. Figured something that was a close enough fit in leather would work.

Mid point on price unless you were interested in the Double Jeopardy IWB. $249! I've ordered full custom exotic leather holsters for less $$$. It looks comfortable, though.

I'm another fan of Rob's work at Tucker Gunleather (http://www.tuckergunleather.com/). Their Texas Heritage IWB works great for me.

I'm ordering a Falco Walther PPQ holster from these guys; http://www.craftholsters.com/. Build quality and price is good, but they're slow in construction and shipping. I'll see how it goes and I'm not in a big hurry.

Do NOT bother with theholsterstore.com; absolute junk. Should have known it was too good to be true, but I was impatient.

Lots of choices today! Lobo Gun Leather, Wright Leatherworks, DM Bullard, UBG Holsters, Winthrop Holsters, Tucker Gunleather, Multi Holsters, RGrizzle Leather, and the list goes on and on.

I recommend any of the names in the list above, I have some of them, and many of the Sig forum members recommend many of these names as well, fwiw.
