Accuweather.com has a handy new feature allowing you to track the weather minute by minute based on your address. It's called MinuteCast. Tells you what to expect in the next few minutes. Pretty nifty.
www.accuweather.com enter your location in the search on top, then click on 'MinuteCast'
Headed home on E-470 and drove through that storm. I saw rotation starting near Quincy as I was picking my kid up. Got nailed with 1" diameter hail. Sheets of hail. I got hit a couple times and the 3yr old was scared, but we are ok and at home. Hate this shit.
Colorado weather is insane lately. Fires, floods, hail, tornados, droughts, etc. Makes me miss winter already.

You shut your whore mouth!
You shut your whore mouth!
I slapped myself for saying it but as an insurance agent, this weather makes my life hectic. Ha ha.
I could see the wall cloud and funnelettes from my office on Sixth and Sable looking Southeast.

Aren't you really friggin glad you got your License now? I know I am. :-D
My wife called me from the garage. Apparently, she got stranded out there when the hail came through, then the sirens started wailing. We live near Colfax and Tower, and the worst of it (hail-wise) went just south and east of us.

holy crap--i was driving between downtown and UCH about 2:30pm and was in a hail storm to the point it was hard to see.
Was out by Buckley during this.. Holy balls it came down hard. Hail and rain. The trees were shredded. I had to drive back home right after and there were accidents left and right -- w/ 2" of hail on the ground.

It must have just missed me over off Tower and 32nd. Got a little bit of pea sized hail at the shop and some heavy rain but nothing to get into a fuss over.

Then again people stop on the highway for no reason at all 24/7. OH honey look, there's some trees [facepalm]

TRUE! You don't need one to listen which I did for months before I took my test to be sure I wanted to spend the cash. I still don't talk much though.
Just got home. the hail did a number on my fruit trees. :-(

I am talking about ALL 3 EB lanes, the exit lane to I-225 NB the center median and the sidewalk on the south shoulder ! There were cars stopped, Just the area under the bridges, waiting for the hail to stop. Get a clue, you are obstructing the flow of traffic..
Not you Kazoo, unless you were one of the Tards doing it.

I got stuck on I270 right as all the [shithitsfan] Had a moment there where I had to wonder if all was going to be okay. It wouldn't have been so bad if everybody didn't stop in the highway. I could have normally driven through it in a few minutes but instead had to sit through it for 15 minutes.
The ARES that DFBrews posted has been pretty active and helpful.
Not sure what town it happened in but a car next to me at the gas station this morning had rather severe evidence of hail damage.

Sirens went off by me and we got hail. I'm in the south part of Reunion right where 92nd turns south. Apparently the tornado passed 1-2 miles south of me. Wife works in Montbello and her car has hail damage; liability only on her car. It was loud at home, sounded almost like a freight train for a good 10-15 minutes. I know some in Green Valley area didn't fare so well.
Who got the hail damage? I'm waiting for insurance to call back.

Grew up in Kansas. This was nothing. Had softball size hail destroy my car in high school.
The best way to tell who grew up in Kansas vs transplants is during a tornado warning. Locals run out the front door to see what's going on in the sky, transplants are shorting their pants in their basements...

HAM radio said touch down at E 88th Ave and Piggott Rd, which is on the way to CRC. Maybe I heard wrong and that's just where the guy was following the cell. I guess I'll find out Saturday.

Golfball sized in GVR but only marble sized in Reunion. My wife works in Montbello and she got some hail damage on the hood of her car.

I'm guessing Spleify is hating it this morning...we had about 5 inches of pea-marble sized hail, wiped out all of the wife's flowers, but most of the veggies made it through with only minor damage. Basically stripped the leaves off of the ash tree in front of the house.

That's the spooky part, hail, wind and then dead calm. Listen for the freight train after that.
...and it starts again. Rumbles and rain in Golden...

My SUV got a little hail damage parked at DIA yesterday. Talked to my insurance agent this morning... I think I'm going to NOT get it fixed until the end of the summer. At least this way I won't have to worry about if/when it might happen for the rest of THIS season.
Ended up having to take E470 to get home last night because Tower Rd was closed near the Canopy Parking operation. I normally don't use E470 because I'm really cheep!
We flew in from Portland and landed at about 6:20. We actually arrived before the earlier PDX to DEN flight because they had to divert to Fort Collins-Loveland. We hardly hit a bump the whole way home and barely even got the airplane wet!
I have to be over there again this evening. I figure there's a decent chance I'll be adding to my hail damage. Not really an option to NOT go, but I sure hate seeing my vehicle damaged.
Tornado sires going off where I'm working at union station down town.

My wife got the same one in same neighborhood.
I got the same alert 2 minutes later for downtown (15th & Little Raven). Lots of people got the alert and everyone rushed to look outside. Ugly clouds with some rotation right above. It moved off to the east pretty fast though.

And post up which company is confusing a blister for hail.
In my case of hail damage to my house, it was State Farm just a little less than 2 years ago. The hail managed to beat the stuffings out of my metal roof vents, downspouts and gutters, but the only damage to my asphalt shingles was as a result of "blistering due to inadequate ventilation."
I live in a neighborhood full of retirees and there are 64 identical homes built by the same builder at the same time. Amazingly, all the State Farm-insured roofs suffered from the same problems. Most of the remaining 64 homes got new roofs!
I'm keeping my coverage with State Farm long enough to sustain enough hail damage that there's no way it can be denied. I'll make them pay for a new roof and THEN switch companies.
451454514745145Hmmm. Watched this one and another one from the same cloud for a while this one was much more defined. Near Fitzimmons. So, that's a funnel cloud right?
Yup. I saw the same one from my building. :-)
I just heard on the news that the sirens went off in Westminster at 3am this morning. That suuucks. They're still investigating the cause.
