I know the opinions about Jon Stewart here are pretty much negative, but he do a fairly good interview with Tim Geithner (better than most of the MSM IMO).

I lack the computer skills to link the video:

I find it reflects how poor the MSM is in trying to find truth. The MSM is talking points from the same agenda read on every channel.

I have to agree with Stewart that making the argument that the entire system would have burned down if they didn't do what they did is sophistry.

Geithner's body language was clearly strained/on the defensive. Could be that's just social nervousness like many normal people in that setting, could be he knows he's a total schmuck and he has a lot to answer for and he knows that JS was going to take him to task. What a dick.

To both of points; I agree.

I think Stewart is given a degree of freedom as he is not a part of the MSM, and his show is labeled entertainment and on Comedy Channel.

His body language is telling, and I seen that also. My better half seen "a dog that is being chastised". Same result- I believe Geithner underestimated what questioning he would face.

My hope is the audience did not lose the gravity of what was asked and answered...

What this shows is what an utter idiot Tim Geithner actually is. Typical of Obama's cabinet appointments, he would be a third rater in any real presidential administration.
