So lately I've been seeing people selling magazines with higher than 15 round capacity and I am wondering about the legality of it. I know it's obviously illegal to sell them now. However I went to a gun store the other day and saw a 22 round glock .40 s&w mag as well as the 9mm 33 round ones. Then after looking at this gun store, I saw that people are still offering their glock 17s with 17-round mags on armslist or XDMs with 19 round mags. One guy that I saw said he was selling them as rebuild kits. Here's the thing, I already have all the 15+ round mags that I need (or can foresee myself needing for a long while) and I do not planning on purchasing any, as it would be illegal. I guess I'm more curious how they are selling these legally (if they are legal). Is this law one that people are openly ignoring or is it legal to sell them as rebuild kits? Or is this some large entrapment scheme that they are attempting on places like armslist? Any thoughts?

Let people buy and sell as they see fit. There may be consequences to those selling illegal items or there may not be, time will tell. Sounds like you have what you need but others may not be as prepared. There's nothing to see here, move along.

Marijuana is still a Schedule 1 controlled substance according to Federal law, but you see it for sale on every fuxing street corner. It's only a question of when and why these laws will be enforced, and by whom.
