Anyone willing to help me out with a technical/assembly type question on my SIG P220? Would greatly appreciate it. I removed the grips today and would not of imagined a small metal part fell out. I done nothing but field strip and remove the grips. Might have come from the left side ambi safety selector. I have looked all over the web and can't find a full strip of the P220. I have no problem taking this completely apart. However, I need to know what the heck fell out and from where.

Sorry. I looked but have no idea. My Sigs are the normal DA/SA.
Good luck.

Lol. I guess I meant mine doesn't have any kind of manual safety.

Well, I just sat back down and looked and see exactly where it goes. Guess my anxiety took over and I was in panic mode. Thanks Ray. I'm good to go!

Huh, that's a new one to me. I can't say I've ever seen a P220 with an external, manual safety. Is that a beaver tail specific thing?
I've seen the single action only models but didn't know they had a double action model with a thumb safety.

Good Lord that is a beautiful gun. I may have to buy some new wood grips.

For future reference this guy lists 2 or 3 different Sig P220 manuals-
