I grew up in the country where a hand shake and your word meant something. I don't understand why so many folks are shifty and flake out more times than actually doing what they said they would. Now that I'm starting up a business it seems even more apparent than ever that so many folks are untrustworthy. Just had to get that off my chest.

Anybody here build websites? [Bang]

At at the advice of others below: golly g darn it, falafel, Kelly clarkson, like or dis-like Obama and tin foil hats!

I do, but usually more complex business web apps. I sent you a PM, give me a call, I might be able to help you out, if not I can point you in a good direction.

You took the time to type your rant which earned you the 2 but it pretty much fell apart after that. Needs more substance. Swear words would have netted you some additional style points.

And more angst directed at the democratic party... That always bumps a rant into the +6 realm. [Coffee]

LOL cheers to that, especially to your point about starting a business. It really brings out the "winners"...

Still need to grab a coffee one of these days, eh? That doesn't count as a flake because we didn't shake hands on it, right? ;)

Been dealing with them left and right lately on craigslist. There needs to be a feedback forum for real life....

The feedback forum here makes me laugh, the one time anything negative was posted there was so much butthurt that life on the forum couldn't continue until it was deleted.
I've had plenty of people flake on deals here, I never left feedback because it's not worth the drama.

Craigslist? Ha! Try Armslist. I have meet a few really nice people on both but man alive, Armslist, in my opinion, has way more flakes than Craigslist.

Flakes?

No consequences.

Used to be you got your ass kicked for lots of flakey shit people get away with now. We've just become too damn litigeous and ass kickings can get you in too much hot water or lose your rights.

Just had one do it. Sad that being a man of your word means so little.
