Working in the Obama administration must be one bumpy bus ride what with all the people that bus is running over.
Does this mean Senator Burr is off the hook for his remarks?

Well, I guess the big guy finally Did Something! I can't remember, is this the first time or second time he fired someone in his administration?
Shinseki was always a liberal douche, he's the guy that switched the Army to black berets because it wasn't fair to regular soldiers that elite soldiers got to wear berets.

oh cool the guy that was retiring anyways resigned a month early. As for Jay Carney leaving, definitely one to put against the wall.
I almost feel bad for many people working under this administration (keyword: almost)... having that on your resume would be like having "Conviction: Felony 1: 3 counts murder," I doubt even McD's would hire your worthless ass.

Bastard should be sent to prison for what he did or didn't do. So sick and tired of this administration getting a pass for everything the gooberment has failed to do over couple years.

That really pissed me off!
My soldiers were NOT HAPPY CAMPERS when they had to give-up their field caps and start wearing the stupid berets. Kinda hard to work on an M88 or pull a 5-ton engine with a beret.[Mad]
We hand no problem letting the tip-o-the-spear guy have all the berets they wanted! [Flower]

I remember back in the mid 80's when they were tossing around the idea of giving us 11B's baby blue berets. The idea was canned as they looked too much like the UN peacekeeper berets.

It was a reason I was glad to be in aviation. We didn't wear caps or berets on the flight line due to FOD possibilities.

Won't solve the problem for our vets. The admin will come back that we need to spend more money fixing the problem. The VA bureaucracy gets bigger, more gov union workers, baseline budgeting with no incentive to save or spend the money wisely and the vets are still without proper care.
Charles Krauthamer pointed out that some of the VA's systems are still running DOS.
The fix: the vets that are unable to get immediate care should get the same HC as gov workers, no premiums or copays like the VA system. They would just need to add another group to the plans and hand out cards to the vets. Then see which system works best but we all know where that would lead. Many of those paper pushers at the VA would be out of a job and you can't have that.
Put Congress and the Executive branch into the VA health program. Give the vets the sweetheart deals that Congress and the Executive have for themselves.
...the vets have earned it.
