I have just received my White Oaks Armament 20 inch .223 varmint upper (a month and half earlier then quoted) and I have a lower. I plan on dropping in a Geissele trigger and not planning on any special stock. The place I’m a little lost at is what mounts for the scope is recommended? I have not put a large optic on an AR wondering if I need like a Larue or Aadmount that moves scope forward or if normal rings well work? As always thanks for all the helpful advice.

It's going to depend on your shooting style and the eye relief of your optic. I shoot with my nose touching the charging handle so pretty much any scope I use has to be mounted pretty far forward for proper eye relief.

You will need a stock that has the comb high enough to match the scope and ring combination you end up with. This will give you a consistent check weld. The stocks length of pull should be compatible with the eye relief of the scope.

Which is why both are adjustable on a PRS stock... Just sayin'.
