Jewelry repair

My wife has an antique 14kt diamond and ruby ring that has a loose stone. I'm looking for a jeweler that can do the repair without compromising the collector's value of the piece. Does anyone have any leads on a competent jeweler that 1) is open more than 20 hours a week, and 2) doesn't want 80% of the value of the ring to do a relatively minor repair?
